For Families

Someone nearby when you can’t be.

You may be the person Mom or Dad calls when they can’t get into MyChart, need to fill out something online, receive a suspicious message, can’t remember a password, or simply aren’t sure what a website is asking them to do. GranPal can be that steady, familiar person nearby — even when you can’t be.

How it works for families

GranPal doesn’t replace family. GranPal takes some of the pressure off.

Many of the families we work with live at a distance, keep busy schedules, or just want a patient, trusted person handling the everyday digital questions — instead of talking Mom or Dad through it step by step over the phone.

We can serve as the local, familiar helper, coordinate technology projects with you, and help set up devices or changes your family has already decided on — all while your parent stays the primary client.

What you can expect

Family involvement, on your parent’s terms

Permission comes first

We loop family in only when the client says it’s okay — updates, next steps, or a heads-up after a visit, never behind their back.

A familiar experience

We keep thoughtful notes on your parent’s devices, accounts and comfort level — so each visit picks up where the last one left off, with less re-explaining.

Help from anywhere

Coordinate technology projects, get authorized updates, or arrange a visit for your parent — even if you live hours away.
